welcome to my blog!

Dear Reader,

just posted our first day of our dance-themed holiday. Read about 'de Bonte Wever' in Assen where Ballroom- and Latin competitions are held.

A stroll along the beach, a couple of days in Liège, Vlaggetjesdag and Paris: my latest posts.

Earlier I posted the blogs of our first trip to Poland and Prague. Before Poland (Wroclaw and Kliczkow) we went to England's charming Southern coast and it's capital. We made both trips because of our new hobby: ballroom dancing!

Read my blogs about a wonderful trip to the Midlands and the industrial cities that border the Yorkshire moors. The moors and downs were ever so beautiful. And... no rains!

Before England we went to the Gambia, a tiny country alongside the river Gambia, surrounded by Senegal. It made for stunning pictures and all in all it was a very interesting trip.

I had to restrain myself when writing about our trip to  ItalyI could have written a travel guide about  Ravenna, San Marino, the Po Delta and Venice alone.

A trip to Eilat in Israel, think: Negev desert, canyons and riding a camel.

Curacao! That's a wonderful place to write about. Feeding iguana's and tropical birds on our balcony, seeing every nook and cranny of the dry, dusty and windy island. Strange trees, wonderful supermarkets and bus stops (!)

Or the island of Lanzarote, our fav Canary island. Pretty much unspoilt thanks to Cesar Manrique. Read about the wonderful legacy he left the island: the beautiful houses and the 'juguetes al viento'.

A lot of beautiful photos can be seen at the South-Western American deserts blogs.
Think San Francisco, the Nevada Route 50 into Utah, south to Arizona and back to California, meanwhile visiting the Usual Suspects: the canyons, the Mohave Desert, Las Vegas, Death Valley and the Sierras (Yosemite!) plus... Apple HQ in Cupertino (a pilgrimage if there ever was one!)..

Of course I also blog about Holland for my Australian and Canadian family & friends (and for YOU, of course) : Amsterdam, the tulips at the Keukenhof, the new herring at Vlaggetjesdag and days out at other Dutch fishing villages.

There's so much more to tell you about, and I've got so many pictures I want to share with you --- so do come back to my blog - and enjoy!

Malina
