This is a selection of the Balinese textiles I have bought over a couple of years.
They are handwoven and hand dyed. The gold and silver thread is right away woven into the cloth.
They're called kain sonket.
There are only a few places where these textiles are woven. Mine come from Sidemen, a small village south of Mount Agung. In reality they are even more colourful!
