An unseen Harry Potter related exhibition: so off to Greek Street!

To cut a long story short: 26 Greek Street is the home of MinaLima (the pink house on the photo), the  graphic design company that made all (all!) the graphic props and printed media for the Harry Potter films.

Such as, I quote the Harry Potter Wiki: 'the Quidditch World Cup posters, the Marauder's Map, the Daily Prophet, the Quibbler, and hundreds of boxes and labels for items sold at Honeydukes and Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes'.
Plus the first Hogwarts letter for Harry ('cupboard under the stairs'), the howler sent by Ron's mum when they 'stole' the flying car, Rita Skeeters book on Albus Dumbledore - everything.
A treasure trove.

Stacked in a tiny, rambling, four floor house with a proper gift shop where you can buy a lot of the original drawings and designs in art prints.
We were pre-warned of queues and days we'd better not come and visit the place.
Some photos so you get the idea:

No problems on a sweltering hot monday afternoon though.. we could join a tour almost immediately and spend an hour in awe of the loving details the MinaLima team put into their - by now - so well known designs. A must for all Harry Potter fans!
