Sometimes you find absolute happiness in a place you didn't expect.
Before we were expected at our 'Dance Break Holiday' in a Bournemouth hotel we stayed in Lewes, a small, charming and very English town that happens to be in the middle of the South Downs (to make some of you extra jealous: one day we walked to Glyndebourne. Yess! Unfortunately no performances that week - such a pity, we finally had the proper clothing with us!).
We spent two wonderful days walking in these South Downs. Here's why we loved it.
A green and pleasant land!
