Piers. I love the English Piers.

So we were going to England because we wanted to dance.
In between the dancing we had the wonderful opportunity to visit some of the sea side resorts on the South coast.

And their piers.
I love piers.
England still has a lot of them. Beach, Pier, Amusement Park.
On the Piers in the larger cities a sort of mini Las Vegas in the halls where there used to be tearooms, theatres and dance floors (yes, on the Piers. Some of them are immens. As are the buildings on them).
We were ever so lucky: the weather was wonderful - often sunny, never too cloudy, only a bit of wind but not the slashing rains the English summer is so famous for.

Let me show you the piers we spotted. They're Brighton, Eastbourne, Swanage, Bognor Regis, Bournemouth and Littlehampton.
