Pilgrimage to the Mothership: Apple HQ

Sillicon Valley.
Cupertino.
Infinite loop.

Apple headquarters.

Need I say more?

We knew we would go there as soon as we found out SF Int'l Airport sat between San Francisco and Sillicon Valley. So after we had chosen our car - yes, we were told to pick the one we liked from the line of standard-size cars! - we drove by way of Palo Alto to Cupertino and travelled the Infinite Loop.

I must admit we felt a bit giddy.
First because we were slightly ashamed to go and see Apple HQ. Just because we were near Sillicon Valley. I mean, we're no addicts, are we? Let alone pilgrims.

Second because we couldn't believe our luck we were actually driving the, THE Infinite Loop, and seeing Apple HQ, and visiting the company shop where we bought trinklets bestowed upon the Apple afficionados by the Steve Jobs heirs.

We made touristy pictures. Posing in front of the various Infinite Loop adresses. We bought things we would never have bought if they hadn't the Apple logo on it (think water bottles and keychains). We drove the Infinite loop once again, drinking in the view, the idea we were actually on Apple Homeground.
We bought the t-shirt.
'Cupertino. Home of the Mothership'.

We LOVE Apple. Please don't tell...
