I've blogged a lot about places around the world, places that were exotic for us. I did promise to blog about life in Holland as well - that's exotic for you, at the other side of the world - or a sweet memory.
So here are a couple of pics taken during one bicycle ride near the village where I grew up. Think: in the middle of the country and then a bit to the East. the Arnhem area. We lived south of the largest forest area in Holland, a remnant of the last Ice Age: a morene. So here you find steep, short hills in an otherwise flat Holland - in that Ice Age a swamp in a river delta.
No geology lectures here, but photos. No further story either, only: all this was just around the corner.
